Beach hut life soothes the soul.

So this photo is my final back-blip (as promised) taken a few months ago in between my busy life visiting my unwell mother and helping to relieve my stepfather from his caring duties.

Yes! we still enjoy visiting our little hilltop beach hut and try to visit at least once a week. Earlier this year we got someone to ad a little kitchen unit with worktop and handcrafted bench seat beside it.

We now have much more storage for crockery, cutlery and all the other essential little bits of crap that one tends to collect and put into a beach hut.

We aim to continue visiting the hut on a weekly basis but now rent it out when we can to help pay for the ever increasing yearly maintenance and lease costs payable to Suffolk Coastal District Council who have increased our rates well beyond inflation for the second year in a row. Shame on you SCDC!
