Memories
Brother Peter came today with 9 boxes of Mum's things, everything except for the coin collection and huge pile of 1940s onwards theatre programmes which still need cataloging. Got them all in the garage and stacked nicely so that my car still fits in and as I peeped into an open box the first thing I saw was my Nana's vases. The brown and ugly Royal Doulton vases that Mum always made me promise to get valued if I didn't want them. Well I didn't want them but actually they aren't worth that much either so my heart took over and Nana's vases are now on my fireplace.
Popped into the village to pick up me asthma meds and saw this lovely Betula plant so bought it for the courtyard.
