A very welcome sight greeted me in the garden this morning – the first iris to bloom this season so I am able to feature it in Bikerbear’s Flower Friday challenge.
 
Yesterday’s container was a long way from the port. It is one of several sitting within a huge sporting complex which makes up the ‘green belt’ between Richmond & Stoke, near Nelson, NZ.  I have now added the location tag to the entry.
Thank you for the many stars and comments – and yes, I know it was something different to the photos I usually post on blip, but I do admire this genre as well.
