Sunrise at Rehoboth Beach, DE

I went out to the beach at 6 AM to watch the sunrise but didn't get to see much due to a few stray dark clouds. During my drive back to the B&B, I saw this bird soaking up the first morning rays. So here you go - a photo of a Cormorant.

Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? I haven't a clue. Updated Aug 5
