Sunrise over Southwold

Never seen Better Half get out of bed before me - and at 4.45!  Better Half and No. 2 daughter were in their element with their fancy cameras.  Their photos were far more arty than mine.  Was worth it, but now, at 5 pm, it feels like 8 pm!
Made me think of Zechariah's description of Jesus in Luke 1 as the rising sun.
"because of the tender mercy of our God,
    by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven
to shine on those living in darkness
    and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the path of peace."

PS - No. 3 Daughter did not join us - she was in her "happy place" - bed!
