Higher and Higher

A reasonably early start this morning got us to the Fuente De Cable car before too much of a massive queue built up. We still had to wait for our turn but oh was it worth it.
When we got out of the cable car we somehow missed the gigantic restaurant on our right because we were gasping at the views and taking photos of the scenery on our left. We had been told about a rifugio an hour's walk away from the top, so we walked there, taking a bit longer than an hour because we kept stopping to take photos. After a delicious snack lunch we trekked the hour back to the cable car to go down and discovered the cafe we had previously missed and had a coffee there. I really don't know how we missed it!
It did us a favour really because we probably wouldn't have walked so far along the path and we would have missed some incredible scenery.
