Looking for food

This long summer has made birds hatching twice. This Common Wood Pigeon is looking for food for his wife who is lying in the nest. He didn't find anything, so he came home with nothing. She went searching and he took her place in the nest. Don't know if she found something, because I went upstairs to eat.
