Opening ceremonies...

at the AOG here in the Pacific Northwest. The participants themselves had planned and performed a quite heartwarming "firework" show. It had to be done before dark in order to avoid the appearance of the Barn Owl (who is boycotting the AOG games  due to some gripe about the bright lights). 
The show was, how do I say this kindly, quite amateurish, but we did our best to cheer wholeheartedly.
