Eycott Hill

Had a little walk this afternoon on a new nature reserve. It's being managed by Cumbria Wildlife Trust so we thought we would use our membership and have a look.

The high ground gives good views of High Street, Great Mell Fell (shown here) and Blencathra. Several people we out on the reserve. All of them assumed we'd been before - we were wearing wellies. No, we'd just headed advice on the site's promotional material.
