Susan's lilies

A very pleasant, varied sort of day. Gym first followed by a visit to Screwfix to pick up a mulitmeter to check out the Dyson (see here). Unfortunately the meter revealed no problem with the cable retractor so it is a much more fundamental issue meaning despite wanting to repair it looks as if a new one is needed. Managed to get it apart and together very easily now I'm well practised.

Spent the afternoon cooking; made a cucumber pickle using efficient cumcumber plants outside and also some teacakes. (see additional shots) shots)

Managed to remember today is Flower Friday, so Susan's lilies are my offering. Bedevilled by lily beetle as always they've managed to pull through.
