Time to Tackle the Raspberries

So I found the bottom of the allotment and today with help from some new friends, we lopped and chopped the raspberries. I also found a black current bush which I'm hoping will pick up next year and be a lot happy for a chop. In the end I looked like a raspberry.  I'm the only person I know that looks so red after doing a bit of gardening.  I've had a couple of evenings burning the weeds that I collected from clearing the plot but tomorrow night there's a music event down the road so I will be chilling, having a drink or two enjoying free entertainment on my allotment.
