Bumped into this unnecessary death on my 'Constitutional Roll' this morning (a mere 6.8 miles down into town & back - no where near in the same league as middleman's 71.8 miles today!) Surely on a slow, shallow bend on a narrow country road it's possible to slow down for these beautiful animals? Don't get me started...

Anyway, perfect timing for this spell of BBQ-weather that's unexpectedly turned up today!
