The new attraction opened yesterday (4th August) on the seafront.  It is to replace the West Pier, which will not be restored. Apart from being vertical, unlike the pier, this costs £15 to go on it. However there were extensive queues today, so it may be a money-spinner.  My feeling is that, unlike the London Eye, half your view here is of water, so unless Groupon do a really god deal I may give it a miss. (Yes, I know, miserable old skinflint!)
