Grenserittet

Grenserittet is an annual cycling race from Stromstad to Halden, 80km along hilly, winding offroad trails. It is entirely organised by Halden Orienteering Club and is one of the key annual fundraisers for the orienteering club. Over 4000 competitors took part, setting off in waves of a few hundred every 5mins for 2 hours. A seeding race on Friday afternoon allocated you to your wave.
Charlotte has arrived, coming straight from World Unis, and together we volunteered for 2 hours, keeping the finish area clean from rubbish. Unfortunately it rained all morning, so everyone was absolutely caked with mud by the finish. Looked fun!
