I woke up at 4.30 and saw the sunrise. I wanted to get in the car and drive east.
I didn't. But I had the most amazing energy. Something I  haven't experienced for ages. So I used it.

A full day which included shoe purchases and shoe returns and lots of thinking about shoes. You know when a pair of shoes comes to the end of their life and nothing will quite replace them.

If only I didn't have feet like Barney Rubble.
