These haze covered mountains!
Typical late winters day, I had a small council issue to follow up so I took the opportunity to take several shots. The picture is taken from the eastern side of Muswellbrook looking north across the Hunter Valley. I say typical because the days now are cool not cold, cold for our climate being below 10degC and freezing from 5degC and below. Below freezing invokes my personal emergency action of not coming out of the house until the temp reaches double figures. As the shot shows the far mountain is covered with eucolyptus trees as is the closer parts of the town. the mountain area will require constant attention as we enter the bushfire season. I went looking for Donald and his friends before I went home. The weren't where I originally saw them so I drove further down the street, I wasn't expecting to see the ducks but there they were playing in a mud puddle. Donald was very vocal and came along the road squawking at me. It may have been that he expected a little privacy while the others had a bath. For a different perspective, tomorrows blip will be from the other side of the mountain in the distance. Hope you all have a great weekend.
