Thank you for your kind words and thoughts, they are a comfort.

Mum has gone back into hospital today as she predicted and she will be there for Christmas, the same happened last year. To be honest it is the best place for her to be right now, he mental state has deteriorated rapidly since the other day and she will begin another course of ECT treatments, medication alone does not appear to control her mood.

Dad will be doing the daily trip to the hospital to see her and take her fresh clothes, it will be a break for him in so much that he can hand the reins over to the doctors and nurses so he can recharge his batteries.

I'm in college this evening so may not get to comment, and I've an early start in the morning to travel to Cheltnam for Dot's funeral.
