I willingly peeled and cut up these backyard wormy apples to dry and make fruit leather with. Note that I am intensifying the sun with one of those sun shades that you put in your car's windshield. Both projects took quite a bit of time and I'm not sure it is worth it, but I love the idea of harnessing the sun to make food.
