West Module

Today at daybreak the 'Thialf' lifted the West Module off the 'Black Marlin'. With a total weight of around 6000 tons, even for the 'Thialf' this is a pretty serious one. Not only because of the weight, but also the dimensions. See the yellow crane boom sticking out of the module. This is the West Module and still on the 'Black Marlin' is the East Module. This one is even heavier, approximate 8000 tons. To be continued.
