I've spent the morning by the river , reading in the wee park 'The Oasis'. Some thoughtful person, has planted, when this tiny park overlooking the river was re-planted last winter, plants that attract Bees : so there's currently a whole patch of flowering Marjoram, that Bees love. I'm not familiar with the pink,succulent type flower : perhaps someone can tell me.
The Oasis is on the west bank of the river and gets the sun all day. I've included the bottom picture to show you where I perch late afternoon on the opposite east bank. There's a narrow path at the bottom of the wall, that this boat owner uses and me. It's free of all the junk that the population, enrages me by dumping their litter in the river/on the river bank. There's loads of bins, emptied regularly, the sweepers do a valiant job. Humans eh!.  Rant over XX
