Tough Job

Bringing in all 12 anchors for the Hermod is quite a job. Especially if two of her stern anchors have two midlines buoys per anchor. Long wires under serious tension create a lot of torque and you can see the result on this picture. The clamp on the anchorwire on the foreground should be able to swivel, but apparently this did not work. It meant a lot of extra work for our Malaysian deckcrew. But weighing more or less 50% of an average European rigger or A/B, the outcome of their handicraft is exactly the same. Everything was cleared and brought back in time to the Hermod.
