Silver-Washed Fritillary

This afternoon I went to Llynclys Common to look for butterflies for Butterfly Conservation's Big Butterfly Count. I found a sunny glade out of the wind and stood still to watch. I found ten different species including the one that I hoped to see, the Silver-Washed Fritillary.
