Silver Globe

I spent a couple of hours in Bristol today having lunch with an old school friend whose birthday it is. We each had an eighty mile drive to get there, and each from totally opposite directions. As I was there a bit early I wandered around for a bit and saw this 'thing'. Intriguing, or what! I did ask one person what it was, but it turned out that she was from Slovakia, and knew no more than I did. (This 'thing' is in the Extra, too.)
