A wonderful day's cricket

My team of which I have been a member since 1977 and am now President, Tickhill CC were playing in the Whitworth Cup Final, the top cup trophy in South Yorkshire. ONly once before in 1994 have we made the final. Today promised something special.

And it delivered. I took loads of photos but decided this one with the champagne flowing celebrated the moment the best. It was a great game with the match vying from us to the opposition. In the end we won comfortably and the trophy was ours. The extra is a picture of some of the crowd. It always gets a good attendance and th day, though windy, was hit and sunny.
