Servantics

We've a guest at the moment who's a professional genealogist.  Between his real work and a holiday he's entertaining himself and us with a bit of a rummage around the Dell House history.

It would seem that the servant's wing was really rather full in the 1800's.  We knew it had five servants showing on the 1911 census but by then we'd apparently lost at least one footman and the coachman.  One has to cut down, you know.

Now we're just down to two.
