Another Morning With the Hummingbirds
After seeing the photos from yesterday, my partner wanted to go see the hummingbirds sometime. It was such a beautiful morning, that we decided to do that today. The hummingbird feeders are positioned about 10 feet apart in front of a park building which has tan wood siding, several windows, and some flowering bushes.
For most of the photos, I sat down on the ground beneath one of the windows (and about 15 feet from the building) and aimed the lens up so I could get the reflection of the sky (instead of the tan siding of the building) to give the picture a little more contrast. It took a bit of time to get my "timing" right, but was finally able to get a couple of nice pictures (about 12 turned out OK out of 200). See today's extra photos for a slightly different shot (same window but color in reflection changed).
I hope to do this at least one more time before the hummingbirds fly south for the winter.
Hope you had a great weekend and thank you for the hearts and comments on yesterday's hummingbird.
