A summer day at the lake

Yesterday and today have been the perfect summer days- not too hot, sunny, with a perfect breeze.  I have been re-reading All The Light We Cannot See for my book club on Tuesday for the past few days.  I loved it when I first read it and I loved it again.  So I read before breakfast.  And after breakfast. Then we took a leisurely bike ride around the neighborhood.Then I read.  Then lunch.  I read some more.  Then we decided to go sit at the Terrace on Lake Mendota for a couple of hours.  It's always fun to see people going for a sail, when it is obvious that they don't know what they are doing. When we got home, I finished my book.
