Photo 194 #366photos: Late Large Forms
26 July 2012
I love Henry Moore sculptures. These late large forms are a treat at the Gagosian Gallery. I've always been a fan of seeing sculptures in parks, in the outdoors where the forms take on the surroundings. In the gallery, the sculptures take on a different perspective. They are massive, imposing, silent and without the surrounding backgrounds, your attention is on the beautiful shapes and forms. I so wanted to touch them all.
My favourite is pictured, called Large Two Forms - the amazing colour, the views it offers as you walk around it, the circular glimpses and the intimate space the gap between the pieces offers.
