Layer cake

We are still storm-bound in Troon, but the good news is that the rain has stopped! It's still too windy for us to move on, so another day in this little coastal town beckons.

None of the crew minds, though, and we are going to venture forth on land soon to get any residual cobwebs blown away! I wish I'd brought my sketch book, as this would have been an ideal opportunity to practise my drawing (skills?). Perhaps I'll find one in a shop, later!

I liked the layered effect of these logs on grass and rocky shore. Even though it's MonoMonday I like the colours enough to keep them - blue sky, after all!
