'Mary's Tree'

Friend C picked me up today and after a quick shop we went to Roundhay Park for coffee - as we made our way through the gardens we discovered this sculpture which has appeared since our last visit.  "Thanks to a generous bequest from a local neighbour and lover of Roundhay Park the 'Friends of Rounday Park were able to obtain the services of a local chain saw sculptor to transform a dead tree into this fascinating sculpture depicting some of the many creatures for which Roundhay Park tropical World is home."
