Important Day

Yesterday was a very important day for my grandson. It was his first Open Day at school.

This past week has been Education Week in NSW and usually one day is set aside by the schools for parents to visit the school. Luckily, at my school it was Wednesday.

Yesterday was Open Day at my grandson's school. After watching a school assembly we were invited into the classrooms for half an hour. They used the interactive whiteboard, sang some songs relating to phonics, had news and then coloured at their desks.

Here is my grandson. He was so excited that his Mummy, his little sisters and his Mimi (that's me) could attend.
