Exhibition opening

Today was the opening of the annual exhibition of the art group I am a member of. This is a group of 30 or so local artists who are all woman and all mothers (the only criteria for entry to the group is that you have to be a mother - it is called Thou Art Mum and was started about 8 years ago by a new mother who felt she needed to reconnect with her art, but felt isolated by having a young baby and unable to produce the body of art needed for a solo exhibition).

This is not a very good photo, I admit it! It's blurry and hand held at 0.4s (should have changed the ISO), but it's the only one I took that shows my lino cut print (the tree) and also Mrs Rosewarne, who came along to the exhibition after a busy day of party'ing.
