The princess and the pea

Took the teen to Ikea today, to try to agree on what furniture he needs for Uni.
For a decisively challenged teenager and a Libran mother this proved not to be a simple task...
- black or white table?
- black or white chairs?
- or maybe stools?
- wardrobe with integral drawers or 2 separate items?
- white, black or wood coloured bed?
- 140 or 160 width of bed (thankfully there's only one possible length)
- the mattress was almost the final straw, I sat there and refused to comment as he lay and bounced on all of them
