The Old Police Station

The old Police Station, Whitbourne Avenue, Park South, Swindon. Built in the 1960's with the new estate. Both a station and flats for single policemen. Now short term lets for local companies, for employees.
Through most of its 50+ year history this was the station that saw a lot of action on what was a "sink estate". My stepfather was based there. He said the " the coppers were worse thieves than the visitors to the cells".
