Capital Ring 5 - The Victoria

I first saw this pub in Charlton just past mile 4 of the London Marathon in 2014 and thought what a shame such an interesting building was in such a sad state. Today we were only walking 11 miles rather than running 26.

StorksRock and I are doing our 5th leg of the Capital Ring - Woolwich Arsenal to Grove Park. Taking in views of the Thames barrier, the City and the Wharf and some fantastic ancient woodland at Oxleas Wood. For an urban walk this leg had a surprising amount of walking by rivers, in woods and in parks.
