Littlemouse Adventures

Impossibly cute

And dinky socks for the bargain price of £1 in Tesco's.

Today's scary thought was that I'm 22 weeks today, that means there is 18 weeks left, less than half, it's all going too quick.

All of the travel system has arrived now, so that's car seat, pushchair and pram. Just need to get the isofix base but shopping around to get the best price at the moment.

The crib has been rented and is due to arrive 2 weeks before due date.

Decided on a changing bag .... Well a new bigger rucksack, cause I've come to the conclusion that changing bags are well just over priced bags and the rucksack style ones even more so and not many are man friendly. Actually a lot of stuff isn't man friendly which seems so odd when the media is telling men to take an active part in parenting.

Decided to buy a range of nappies, a few from different makers and types so we can work out what suits us and baby best before we invest in a system (reusable).

Decided on reusable wipes.

(Ahem really I should say I've decided on the reusable route but Mr Mouse knows I'm an eco girl).

Decided on a few bottles and manual breast pump and will get some ready made newborn milk to have ready in case we need a bit of help with breastfeeding or to get us started if breastfeeding doesn't work (already know when and where the local drop in is for help should we need it).

Buying clothes slowly (don't want to go mad, so easily could, I know they grow so fast and I expect we will get some more as presents).

Decided on sleeping bags rather than blankets.

And other than working out what toys we really need and stuff like thermometers we are done with the planning, just need to buy the stuff now...... It's all so expensive and that's without me needing clothes that fit.
