Hillsook

The gales continue to blow and been showers all day!  It's eased a bit this evening, so has the showers.

Day off work, up early and checked the damage to the garden, all flowers flattened!  I managed two big walks around Scalloway this morning with Sammy, and mostly avoided the showers.  Mam popped by after lunch and we headed north for the day.  First stop was at cousin Peter and Jane Brown's in Ollaberry, next we went on to Nort Roe and popped in to auntie Joan and uncle Magnie, all doing great.  Stopped by Hillswick Hotel for dinner and then moved on to Heylor.  There went to cousin Eileen and family and popped up to uncle Jackie too.  Had a great day with mam, and seeing family.  Off to work in the pub now!

It hasn't been much of a day for photos, and stupidly never got any good ones of the family, just have to revisit them and try again.  So instead, here's a dull photo over Hillswick and some of the rooftops.  Taken from the hotel.
