A birthday treat

A trip to London for my "big" birthday treat started with a coffee at St Pancras, a visit to Tate Modern with great views from the outside viewing gallery in the new extension.

Then on to The Shard for lunch and a trip to the top to pick out landmarks such as Wembley Stadium, the Dartford Crossing and Greenwich to name just a few.

Back to St Pancras for champagne before catching the train home where there were flowers on the doorstep. We hadn't been back long before two of the neighbour's called round with more flowers and chocolates.

It's been a very special day and thanks to all of you for your wishes both here (through the lovely Igor's blip) and on Facebook. I'm overwhelmed. xx
