Well, I set my alarm and duly got up at 2:45am to watch Adam Peaty win us our first gold medal in a world record time - amazing! And then Jazz Carling got a silver directly afterwards. A great 15 minutes for GB.

This is the Tower of St Mary's church. We didn't go in as we were just passing. Hoping to do a bit of sightseeing tomorrow night maybe

Just seen GB men come fourth in the Gymnastics - heartbreaking for them.
But we did get a bronze in the diving so can't complain
