Last hurrah

Final day of this trip.... We started out pretty early, heading in to the city to do some more dream jars. We then went to the Natural History Museum. We didn't know it but we had chosen Butterfly Day to go. Katie spent the whole time doing the free craft activities - dressing as a butterfly, making antennae, classifying samples, colouring in butterflies. We headed to the nature garden where we found more free activities- she made an bug hotel and planted a butterfly-friendly plant in a pot she decorated. We then paid to go into the Sensational Butterflies exhibition. It was brilliant. She was desperate to have one land on her and ended up with two on her hand, one on her head, one on her ballet bag!

We then trotted quickly to the train ready for the exciting afternoon- a Royal College of Music Sparks orchestra workshop. She trotted off happily as it was a "leave the children" thing. She had a great time and was grinning through the whole of "Rapid Orchestra" performance.
She played a little solo and did great. She loved it.

After the workshop we headed back for a few more dream jars, a quick play in Leicester Square fountain and one last play in Kings Cross fountain as the sun began to set on our fabulous trip.
