All in a Day's Work
After losing an alpaca to parasites three years ago, I am vigilant about keeping them at bay. So I burn their piles of poo, or "alpaca beans", in the pasture each and every day before I scoop them and throw them in a compost pile. It's actually not too bad a task. Rather relaxing, really, as I listen to the latest audiobook on my MP3 player while I burn and scoop.
Ah, the farm life. Wouldn't give it up for anything.
