Red-tailed Hawk

We were back at the nearby Fort River refuge today.  The only green heron who appeared was the juvenile, but we did see our first red-tail of the last few weeks, circling lazily overhead in the sun.  And gray catbirds were around, as always--the one in the extra has grabbed two berries (not blueberries, though they are blue in color; they were growing singly on a high shrub). An tomorrow I may get to a frog directly beneath the green heron deck :)
