A 15th Birthday Blip...

15 is the big birthday (quincinsera?!) for girls in Colombia, and it is as important as a wedding. In the home they celebrate it as expected but with a different focus than perhaps others might.

There are 5 girls who have hit this landmark this year and so they had a joint party with a Mexican theme, plenty of fake moustaches, good food, crazy games and chilli sauce.

The girls dressed up in their special ball gowns and looked stunning. They were given invitations to invite any family and friends they liked.

A lovely occasion was only spoilt by the obvious absence of many of the natural families of many of the girls.
