At first I thought this was a new piece of garden furniture when I pulled up outside a rather run down Manor House to deliver my very last letter. I sat in my van for a while watching, and then he moved his head. I was expecting him to scarper as soon as I got out of the van, but he continued to sit in the sun watching me. Hopefully he is ok...

I see lots of wildlife when I am doing this particular round , and I often see deer, but not so close to the town.
