Skyrail, Smithfield-Kuranda, Cairns

Took the opportunity to tour the scenic route at Kuranda, start of the Atherton Tableland, North of Cairns.

We took the Kuranda Scenic Railway up to Kuranda Station, followed by lunch and a visit to the Bird Park, then head back down to Smithfield via the Skyrail Cableway.  Awarded with great scenic views and learning about the histories surrounding the railway constructions, and of course travelling above the rainforest canopy is amazing.
