Glorious Morning

I set off this morning to the wee pond by Cow Tower. Yesterday ( camera less ) I discovered that the Coot family were raising a 2nd batch of 5 new chicks, so wanted to try and photo them.
They were very wary , hiding in the reeds and constantly calling Ma Coot. So these images won : I'd hunkered down hoping that chicks might emerge if I was patient. These wonderful great dragon flies were everywhere. Can anyone identify it please ??.
There's a mass of late summer flowers  : bottom left is Mint flowering. I'm not sure what the yellow job is : anyone know ??
