The Dust Storm Cometh
There's a tropical depression off the west coast of the Baja Peninsula that's going to give us a couple of days of heavy rain. This wall of dust is the leading edge. Glad I didn't run the car through the wash this morning. We've reached that point in the summer when most people are over it - I think I heard we've had 29 days of 110F (33C) or higher, so far. I think the record is around 32 and we have time left yet before the cooling trend gets going in September. Ah well; I learned long ago there's no perfect climate and I would rather deal with heat now than cold in the winter.
