Tilly and Cliff

We ventured up to Durlston Castle this morning and came across a wonderful exhibition that is on until the end of August

Tilley and Cliff were created by the sculptor
Lal Hitchcock from debris collected along the Jurassic coastline here in Dorset. I love the attitude that they both exude!
The poet Matt Harvey has written a great dialogue between the two characters finishing 'I am so glad you washed up on my shore'
There were lots more amazing works and some delightful pieces made by local schoolchildren which I will try and blip another day. What an uplifting, clever and amusing exhibition.
Walks along the beach are going to take on a whole new purpose now!
