Inside knowledge

Travelling today to stay with friends in The Cotswolds. We left home in late afternoon and by the time we were due for our two hour break we were near to Oxford. I knew just the place where we could pull up for a picnic in the car. It is a quiet road round the side of Denman, the WI college I attended a few weeks ago. We sat in the shelter of the College walls, had a snack and a drink before setting off, refreshed, for the rest of the journey and a warm welcome at our destination. Here for a few days with old friends.
