It's here!

The shiny new lens has arrived and is magnificent. Had a fabulous photowalk tonight to put it through its paces and I love it. The clarity is far superior to anything I have achieved before and I can't wait to try it out properly. Only took a few snaps tonight but enough to see that I am going to enjoy playing with it.
While collecting it, I decided just to have a look at the compacts and am now the proud owner of a Sony Cybershot HX90. Talk about impulse buys! Not had a chance to have a play with that one yet, maybe tomorrow when I should be ironing clothes ready for the holiday. But then again, all the villas will have irons, won't they!
